Tiny Furniture (shot fully on a Canon 7D?!)
This whole film was shot on a 7D, which was my main draw to check it out. It looked fantastic, but I wasn’t in love with the film. The dialogue was pretty funny, but I just ended up getting annoyed with the lead character. I just wanted to slap her and tell her to get her shit together. Regardless of what I think, people did like Lena Dunham’s work (she starred and directed) and now Judd Apatow is helping produce a show on HBO with her. So hopefully Apatow will guide this in the right direction and we don’t get Sex and the City but with Twenty-Somethings Feeling Lost + Hipsters.

Ah what a bummer! I was looking to watch that film this week. But I have high hopes for Girls — I saw the first episode and it is fantastic.
